Remote operations still rely largely on fragmented equipment such as diesel generators, solar panels, water carting or bore water, separate communications, and light towers. It’s expensive, operationally fragile, and in many cases the cost of getting water, fuel and equipment to site rivals the cost of the work itself.
Also, larger in-situ equipment often requires significant water, introducing cost and environmental risk. Ecliptic Labs can use the waste heat from the equipment itself to generate water, free from the atmosphere.
